Our work

Four builds for Hawaiʻi organizations, told plainly. The problem, what we built and what happened, each with a live demo you can try in your browser.

AI phone receptionist

A creative technology company

In daily use
The problem
Calls to the main line came in while the team was in meetings or out of the office, and every new lead meant back and forth to find a time to meet.
What we built
A voice agent that answers the main line, learns what the caller needs, answers questions about the business, and books a discovery meeting into a real open slot. After the call, the meeting lands on the team's calendar by itself, and reschedules and cancellations get handled the same way.
What happened
It answers the company's phone full time and books their discovery meetings.
  • AI voice agent
  • Calendar integration
  • Automatic booking
  • Text automation

It's a natural fit for businesses that take calls around the clock, like emergency repair and damage mitigation, where the call at 2 AM is the one that matters most.

Team portal

A professional services company

In daily use
The problem
Support requests came in by email, text and hallway conversation, and contractor invoices were built by hand and chased for approval one message at a time.
What we built
One portal for the whole team. Requests go into a tracked queue where everyone can see where things stand. Contractor invoices arrive filled in with the pay period's hours, move through each approver in order, and come back with a note when something needs fixing. An admin decides who sees which tools.
What happened
The team runs its requests and contractor invoices through it, and new tools get added without disturbing the ones people already use.
  • Team request tracking
  • Invoice approvals
  • Automatic PDF invoices
  • Email alerts
  • Access by role
Team app and AI assistant

A handyman company

In daily use
The problem
Everything a new hire needed lived in people's heads, and the office pieced together schedules, quotes and weekly pay by hand.
What we built
One app for the office and the crew. An AI assistant answers questions about the schedule, open jobs and unpaid invoices. Techs follow step-by-step job guides on site. Weekly pay works itself out from the invoices, and each tech sees their own.
What happened
The office and the crew use it every day. New hires learn from the guides, and each person only sees the tools they need.
  • AI assistant
  • Step-by-step job guides
  • Automatic weekly pay
  • Access by role
Inventory and purchasing

A nonprofit

In development
The problem
The kitchen couldn't say at a glance what was on the shelf, what the week's cooking would use up, what to buy, or what each meal really costs.
What we're building
Enter what the kitchen is making this week and the system does the math. It adds up every ingredient across the recipes, checks what's already on the shelf, and makes the shopping list by supplier, rounded to the case or bag you actually buy. Staff scan deliveries in and count once a week.
Where it stands
Designed from the kitchen's own procedures and the tracking sheet they'd already started. It's coming in phases, starting with receiving and the weekly count.
  • Barcode scanning
  • Automatic shopping lists
  • Cost per meal
  • Low-stock alerts
