An after-hours line for emergency calls

This is a real phone agent, set up for a made-up restoration company called Island Emergency Restoration. Tell it what's wrong, by typing or out loud. If it's an emergency, it takes your name and number and texts the on-call tech. Nobody will actually call you back.

  1. Pick chat or voice, and keep the alert on the phone on this page.
  2. Tell it something's leaking, flooding or coming through the ceiling.
  3. Give it a name and the sample number 808 555 0142, then watch the on-call phone.
  4. Start over and ask for an estimate, or say something's on fire, and see what it does instead.

Built for this business

The night shift that doesn't sleep

  • It picks up after hours

When the office is closed, callers reach someone who can act, not a voicemail box.

  • It knows what's an emergency

Water, sewage and storm damage go to the on-call tech. Estimates and paperwork wait for business hours. A fire gets told to call 911.

  • The tech gets a text they can act on

Name, number, what's happening and when to call back, on the phone they already carry.

  • It costs far less than a night shift

No one has to sit by the phone all night. The agent handles the calls and the tech only hears about real emergencies.
